Our Story

Choosing the right preschool is crucial for your child’s growth and happiness. Blossom Nursery School offers a child-centered, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered. Through child-led, play-based learning, children explore their interests, express themselves, and actively participate in shaping their day.

Our dedicated educators work closely with families to build strong partnerships that support each child’s individual journey. By creating meaningful learning experiences tailored to every child’s needs and interests, we encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development in a warm and stimulating environment.

Our Environment

Explore Our Facility

Bright, airy classrooms and a secure outdoor garden designed to spark curiosity and joy in every child.

Music programme

Blossom Nursery School offers a fun and engaging music programme led by a qualified teacher, specially designed for preschool children.

Through singing, listening, movement, and hands-on exploration of instruments such as shakers, drums, bells, and xylophones, children develop confidence, coordination, and fine motor skills in a playful, supportive environment.

Music supports early development by strengthening language, memory, concentration, and social skills through group activities. Children also learn to express emotions, build creativity, and improve physical coordination. Most importantly, our programme nurtures a lifelong love of music through joyful, active participation and shared musical experiences.

Forest school

We are proud to offer Forest School sessions led by qualified teachers, giving children the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow through hands-on experiences in a natural outdoor environment.

Forest School is a child-centred approach that supports development through regular, meaningful time outdoors. Children build confidence and independence by trying new activities, taking small risks, and making their own choices.

Outdoor activities such as climbing, balancing, digging, and exploring natural materials helping develop their gross and fine motor skills. These sessions also promote cooperation, positive relationships, and emotional wellbeing. Time in nature fosters resilience, self-regulation, curiosity, and problem-solving in a calm, supportive setting.

Sports

Our Fun Sports programme is designed especially for preschoolers, giving children the chance to move, play, and explore sport in a joyful, pressure-free environment. The focus is on fun, confidence, and trying new activities rather than competition.

Through simple games, colourful equipment, music, and playful activities, children stay active and engaged. Sessions are inclusive and tailored to suit young children’s abilities and energy levels.

Our programme develops balance, coordination, and strength, while boosting confidence and encouraging teamwork and social skills. It also promotes healthy habits, improves focus and listening, and builds a positive attitude toward physical activity for life.

The Art Room

A dedicated space for messy play and creativity, where children can express themselves freely with paint, clay, and crafts.

Quiet Corner

Cozy reading nooks with soft cushions and a vast library of books to encourage a lifelong love of reading.

The Playroom

An open indoor area with themed play zones that encourage movement, imagination, and collaborative play.

Why Choose Blossom?

Because We Truly Follow the Child

We are a child-led preschool, meaning children’s interests, ideas and questions shape their learning each day.

Rather than following rigid plans, we:

  • Observe and listen carefully to children
  • Build learning experiences around what matters to them
  • Respect each child’s pace, personality and curiosity

This approach builds confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.

Because Play Is Powerful

We believe play is not “just play” — it is how children learn best.

Through play, children:

  • Develop language, social and emotional skills
  • Learn to problem-solve and think creatively
  • Build resilience, confidence and friendships

Our play-based approach allows children to explore and make sense of the world in joyful, meaningful ways.

Because Every Child Belongs

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.

We create an environment where:

  • Every child feels safe, accepted and respected
  • Individual needs, abilities and backgrounds are valued
  • Differences are celebrated as strengths

We work closely with families and professionals to ensure each child thrives.

Because We Listen to Children’s Voices

We promote democratic participation, helping children learn that their voice matters.

Children are encouraged to:

  • Make choices
  • Share ideas
  • Respect others

This nurtures empathy, responsibility and belonging.

Because Relationships Matter

Children learn best when they feel secure and connected.

 We focus on:

  • Warm relationships with educators
  • Strong partnerships with families
  • A calm, nurturing atmosphere

Every child is known and valued as an individual.

Because Our Environment Supports Independence

Our learning spaces invite exploration and choice.

Children are encouraged to:

  • Access materials independently
  • Follow their interests
  • Build confidence

Both indoor and outdoor spaces encourage curiosity and wellbeing.

Because We Value Nature & Outdoor Learning

Time outdoors is essential to our preschool day.

 Through nature-based experiences, children:

  •  Build resilience and confidence
  • Develop balance and coordination
  •  Learn to care for the environment
  • Experience calm and freedom

Whether digging, climbing or observing wildlife, nature offers endless opportunities for child-led learning.

Because We Partner With Families

We believe families are children’s first educators.

 We value:

  • Open communication
  • Sharing children’s experiences
  • Working together to support development

Families are an essential part of our community.
